A sponsored child, now a doctor

Blesson is a confident, young doctor in a village in Kottayam.blessson1

This journey to success wasn’t an easy one for Blesson. A few years back, he was bereft of hope. His father could barely make ends meet.

He was highly motivated by World Vision India’s activities like children’s club and LSTD (life school for transformational development) in his village. This inspired him to serve in his own village as a doctor.

Blesson was determined to do medicine. When he completed his Intermediate, he got an opportunity to take part in the Vocational Guidance camp organized by Kottayam ADP. It was here that he was motivated to pursue his dream, against all odds.

With moral and financial support from World Vision India, Blesson got admission for MBBS in Kottayam Medical College.

“I am very thankful to World Vision India for the encouragement, motivation and financial assistance. Had it not been for the efforts of Kottayam ADP, I could have never dreamt of even trying for the MBBS course” says Blesson.

Blesson, today, is practicing in a hospital in a village in Kottayam. He has a vision that children like him should get the knowledge and opportunities for a bright future.

Such a doctor should be positivelying contributing back to the society. More & more professionals should be trained from the World Vision. Very happy to learn.

    Hi,

Children with all facilities now a days turn into illegal/imoral activities. Reason behind is countless. Parents, councilor, physician, teachers have their own explanations and conclusions.

Here BLESSON is really gifted by God.
I wish you all the very best for a bright prosperous future.

    Justin.
